St. KIZITO

We’ve all been there—stepping into a situation where the atmosphere feels heavy with the scent of “inevitable” defeat. At St. Kizito SHS, I found myself assigned to a house that had been trailing in the wake of others for four consecutive years. At first, I’ll be honest: I thought the House Master had done it on purpose. It felt like a test, or perhaps a sentence.

But during my National Service, while I was gaining popularity in the classrooms for teaching the intricacies of Chemistry and Physics, I realized that the most important reactions don’t always happen in a lab. They happen in the mind.

The Lesson

It only takes one moment of intentionality to break a cycle. Whether you are a student, a teacher, or a professional, remember that your current “losing streak” is only a chapter, not the whole book.

One single motivation can change the whole story. What narrative are you going to change today?
