Yesterday, I traveled back to the very first place I called home in the Volta Region to pay my last respects to a legendary matriarch—Naana, the beloved grandmother of my close brother and musician.

​Funerals are usually filled with heavy sorrow, but the Presbyterian Church of Ghana pastor shared a sermon titled “The Creative Source” that brought absolute clarity to the crowd.

During the service, the pastor dropped a gem that stayed with me: “Everything has a source, and everything has power.”

In a world full of noise, it’s easy to forget the invisible source behind our existence, our talents, and our breath. Christ is that Creative Source. Seeing the impact Naana left behind is proof of what happens when a life is rooted in something bigger than itself.

Rest in perfect peace, Naana. Your legacy lives on. ✨
