The Ministry of the Interior has announced that recruitment into Ghana’s internal security agencies will open from November 15 to December 15, 2025.
The nationwide exercise will cover the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service and the Ghana Immigration Service.
In a public notice, the Ministry said the recruitment forms part of efforts to strengthen internal security, improve public safety and support effective service delivery across the security agencies.
The Ministry has invited disciplined and patriotic Ghanaian citizens who wish to serve the country with integrity and professionalism to submit their applications within the one-month window.
Prospective applicants have been advised to read all instructions carefully and confirm that they meet the eligibility criteria before applying.
According to the Ministry, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted and invited for screening, aptitude tests and background verification.
The statement also cautioned applicants against dealing with individuals or groups who claim they can influence the recruitment process for a fee.
It added that the Ministry of the Interior and its agencies do not charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment exercise.
Applicants who submit false information or forged documents will be disqualified and may face prosecution.
The Ministry further warned that those who engage intermediaries at any stage of the process will be automatically disqualified.
